Is the Office 365 Home Premium Worth the Price?

If you are techie and you have probably heard about the newest release of Microsoft which is the Office 365. Now there are different versions of the Office 365, most of the versions are created to cater to the small business sector, but recently Microsoft also released a home premium version of the said service.
Basically what makes Office 365 totally different from the rest of the Office releases is, it uses Sky Drive. Now what is Sky Drive? Sky Drive is the cloud storage facility of Microsoft, it allows subscribers of Office 365 to store all their data and settings in the cloud storage. Now what does that mean to the regular folks? It means that you can edit the file in Office 365, save it, save the settings that you used to make the file and close it.

Now when you access it again in another pc or in your mobile device your files and your settings will still be intact. So no more carrying big storage discs and no more worrying that you didn’t save the settings in your PowerPoint presentation. Now you can access it open it and do the presentation using the cloud service.
Now what makes this service viable for home use? Well for starters you can get rid of your storage discs, hard drives and what not; you call all just store information using Sky Drive, now you can use your laptops or PC’s for more important things than stored information. Your kids can now access their homework using Skydrive, they no longer need to carry all of those books around that hurt their back because it’s too heavy.

Your teenage kids can now share pictures and watch movies without carrying big storage discs.
So if you are still on the fence about it, give it a try Office 365 Home Premium has a trial period and it only costs less than $10 a month.
